GENERAL iNFORMATiON
The town of Ashgrove is a gloomy yet lively place full of content and welcoming people. It’s more rural than most towns, farther off in the woods near a lake and a waterfall and surrounded by forest. The waterfall causes fog to wash over the town, especially during rainy days, giving the appearance of thick volcanic ash spreading throughout the town. It’s known to be a walking city since most places of interest are close by, but it’s mostly because the fog can make it dangerous to drive most days. The people here are close-knit and word spreads fast, but outsiders looking to tour or spend the night are welcomed like they are family.
Despite the happy-go-lucky townsfolk, recently an unknown individual has been going on an increasingly violent crime spree. It started off as small petty thefts and burglary and has only increased in frequency and seriousness. Townsfolk have been scared, events have been called off, and the town is as dead as it’s ever been.
